Chief
Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy directed the higher education department to
prepare an action plan to ensure that each student has an appointment letter by
the time he comes out of college.
Reddy told the department to
prepare a comprehensive action plan which would help students who do not want to
pursue higher education, settle down in jobs on completion of their degree and
diploma courses.
The action plan will be
implemented by Jawahar Knowledge centres, Rajvi Udyogsri mission and department
of education.
At a review meeting on Sunday,
he asked the department to arrange English labs so that students can improve
their skills in spoken English, get meaningful and professional training so that
they can easily get jobs in various trades.
"In the next three years, there
should be no unemployed youth in the state," he said.
