Get-together Forum of  JKCs

VENUE : Annamacahrya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Rajampet, Kadapa(Dt).

 

Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences hosted the get-together Forum of Jawahar Knowledge Centers held on 06th January 2005, at their campus to enable the smooth and successful functioning of JKCs and to clear the concerns of students and others.

Students, Principals, Management and Faculty members of the following colleges have participated in the meet and made it a successful event.

1. Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences.

2. R.G.M College of Engineering & Technology.

The president,  IEG Prof. Subbarao Ghanta in his inaugural speech presented the concept of JKCs followed by the speech of Prof. T. Srinivasula Reddy on the electives and the projects to be done by the students of JKCs. Later in the session Prof. Subbarao Ghanta and Prof. T. Srinivasula Reddy  participated in the interactive session with students and principals of various colleges and clarified their concerns.

Later in the morning session the other dignitaries Prof.G.Prabhakara Rao garu, Principal, AITS., Sri Yella Reddy garu, Secretary, AITS., Prof Narasaiah Chetty garu, Principal, Sri Kalahastheeswara Institute of Technology & Science, Chitoor., Prof Nagesh garu, Principal, Madeena Engineering College, Kadapa., and Sri A.Subrahmanyam garu, Head of Dept for CSIT, AITS expressed their views about the JKC concept and congratulated the students who got the oppurtunity to train through this program.

In the afternoon session the students of the participating JKCs competed with each other in a quiz competition with lots of enthusiasm and true spirit . The JKC students of Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences are emerged as winners and the JKC students of  R.G.M College of Engineering & Technology emerged as runners.
        

   

Later in the afternoon session the students of these two JKCs expressed their views about this JKC concept and shared their experiences with this Female Campus Placement Mission program

At last Sri A.Subrahmanyam garu, Head of Dept (CSIT)., of the hosting college expressed the vote of thanks to all the participants who had made the event a grand success especially to Prof. Subbarao garu and Prof. Srinivasula Reddy garu and to the IEG team for providing the opportunity to host the meet.
