First Get-together Forum of  JKCs

VENUE : Indur Institute of Engineering & Technology, Siddipet, Medak.

Indur Institute of Engineering & Technology hosted the first get-together of 8 Jawahar Knowledge Centers held on 29th December 2004, at their campus to enable the smooth and successful functioning of JKCs and to clear the concerns of students and others.

Students, Principals, Management and Faculty members of the following colleges have participated in the meet and made it a successful event.

3. Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology & Science

4. Padmasri Dr.B.V.Raju Institute of Technology

5. Sridevi Women's Engineering College

6. Sri Indu College of Engineering & Technology

7. Sri Vishwesvaraya  Institute of Technology & Science

8. Vignan Institute of Technology & Science

The president,  IEG Prof. Subbarao Ghanta in his inaugural speech presented the concept of JKCs followed by the speech of Prof. T. Srinivasula Reddy on the electives and the projects to be done by the students of JKCs. Later in the session Prof. Subbarao Ghanta and Prof. T. Srinivasula Reddy  participated in the interactive session with students and principals of various colleges and clarified their concerns.

In the afternoon session all these 8 JKC college students competed with each other in a quiz competition with the true spirit. Padmasri Dr. B.V.Raju Institute of Technology is emerged as winners

This quiz competition followed by the speeches of students and principals of the participant colleges who had shared their views about JKCs. Later in the session the college management distributed the prizes to the winner and runner teams of quiz competition and also presented the mementos to the dignitaries.

The principal of the hosting college Prof. B.Laxmi Narayana garu expressed the vote of thanks to all the participants who had made the event a grand success especially to Prof. Subbarao garu and Prof. Srinivasula Reddy garu and to the IEG team for providing the opportunity to host the meet.
